How to train with 47 Co-op
One simple membership. A few different ways to use it.
No contracts, no sign-up fees, no “surprise” add-ons. Just a small room in Brooklyn where people show up, learn, and try not to bump into each other in warm-ups.
- Unlimited BJJ (Gi & No-Gi), Karate, and Self-Defense classes
- No contracts, no sign-up fees, no hidden “admin” stuff
- Freeze or cancel with a normal human conversation
- Community-first environment (we’d rather keep the room healthy than pack it)
All regular classes.
What you get
Not a contract. Not a personality test. Just training.
Choose your lane
Same membership. Different ways to plug in depending on where you’re at.
Great. You don’t have to. Start with basics classes and, if you want a head start, a couple of private sessions to get your bearings.
- Recommended: BJJ Fundamentals, Karate, and Self-Defense
- Optional: A package of private lessons to get comfortable faster
You know the moves, but some parts of your game just don’t click yet. That’s where focused workshops and tune-up sessions shine.
- Come to regular classes as usual
- Add topic-based workshops (Submission Garage, Karate bunkai deep dive, etc.)
If you like structure, feedback, and someone quietly judging your drilling pace, we can stack more focused work on top of your regular training.
- Regular membership for day-to-day classes
- Recurring privates or small-group sessions for accountability
Ways to go deeper
These are optional. Plenty of students just train on the regular schedule and do great.
One-on-one sessions for when you want to zoom in on your game: specific positions, defense, posture, pressure, or just “why do I keep ending up here?”
Common uses: new student orientation, fixing chronic bad habits, revisiting fundamentals with more attention.
How to book: talk to an instructor after class or hit the button below.
Small-group sessions built around a specific theme (like “Disconnection,” posture & base, or not getting stuck underneath people forever).
Expect a clear concept, focused drills, and plenty of time to troubleshoot live with questions and reps.
How it fits: great for students who already train regularly and want to tighten up a particular part of their game.
A handful of training partners working on the same goals. More feedback than a regular class, more energy than a private.
Ideal for friends who want a structured block of time to train together, or a pod prepping for the same event. Self-Defense seminars for businesses and community groups.
How to start: grab a couple friends and ask about available slots. We’ll build the session around your goals.
